It has come our attention that under certain circumstances when ‘Faststart’ is enabled on the IP extensions in IP Office, VCM channels sometimes do not properly get allocated and de-allocated.
This can lead to these resources appearing to be fully used, when there are no calls in progress on the system.
This can be temporarily resolved by rebooting the IP Office control unit.
This issue is currently being investigated, but in the mean time Avaya recommends that Faststart be disabled on IP extensions if this behaviour is experienced.
Please note that this issue does not affect IP trunks.
