089: VMPro Will Not Allow Messages to be Left

Occasionally it will appear that the Avaya IP Office Voicemail Pro has allowed a caller to record a message in a user’s mailbox, but no message light appears on the user’s terminal, and no new voicemail messages can be found when the user logs into the mailbox.

To resolve this issue, use the Avaya IP Office Manager to check the user name to confirm whether or not there is a space at the end of the name, and to remove it if present.

Example:

Incorrect: "jsmith "

Correct: "jsmith"
