124: Line Appearances and QSIG, E1-R2 Lines

Line Appearance
A Line Appearance is a representation of a line on the system, the indicator tracks the activity on the Line. Only external calls can be answered or made on Line Appearances.

Supported Line Types
The following types of PSTN trunk services can be assigned to Line Appearances:-

• Analog (Loop / Ground Start)

• ETSI Primary Rate (E1 PRI)

• ETSI Basic Rate (BRI)

• T1

• US PRI

Unsupported Line Types
The following types of trunk services cannot be assigned to Line Appearances:-

• IP Trunks (VoIP)

• QSIG A/B

• E1-R2
