This document is to clarify the intended operation of the Synchronize Calls feature. The Synchronize Calls feature introduced in IP Office 4.0 software allows you to use a single Voicemail Pro port to play hunt group queue announcements to multiple callers.
Please note that when this feature is enabled the following customized call flow activities are unavailable:
Announce ETA or position in queue
Auto attendants to present menus and perform actions based on DTMF Prompts
Transfer users from the queue announcement to a destination other than back into the queue
As the Voicemail is servicing all callers using a single port it is unable to distinguish between individual callers and as such is unable to perform these individual actions.
If you need to use these features Synchronize Calls must be disabled.
