IP Office 4.0 software has introduced Hunt Group Announcements to the list of supported features in a Small Community Network (SCN).
All IP Office 4.0 Hunt groups in a Small Community Network can have local calls be placed in a Queue and receive Announcements.
Prior to IP Office 4.0, Hunt Groups could only receive Hunt Group Queue messages at the site where Voice Mail Pro is installed. Hunt Groups located at remote IP Offices could not provide Queue Announcements. These Hunt Groups could Queue calls, but callers would only received ringing while in Queue and not hear the announcements. In 4.0 this behavior has changed and Hunt Groups can now provide Queue Announcements over the SCN.
