接地

使用接地连接可降低在大多数语音通信和数据系统中出现问题的可能性。在使用长缆线互连多个设备（例如，电话和数据网络）的建筑中，这尤为重要。

所有 IP Office 控制单元和外部扩展模块必须连接到功能接地。在一些情况下，例如接地启动中继，除了作为一种保护措施外，这是操作设备的功能性要求。在其他情况下，它可能是当地规章要求或必需的保护措施，例如高闪电风险区域。

•	警告在安装期间，一定要确保接地点正确连接到地面。首先测试接地点，然后再使用它们对相连的设备接地。

•	其他保护设备除了接地外，在下列情况下还需要其它保护设备。

•	在连接到位于另一栋建筑物分机的任何数字站或电话外部扩展模块上。参考“建筑物外的电话安装”。

•	在南非共和国的所有模拟中继外部扩展模块 (ATM16) 和包含模拟中继卡 (ATM4/ATM4U) 的任何控制单元上。

•	o 适于压接线缆叉形端头的工具。

•	o 符合当地监管机构要求的线缆套管。通常绿色用于功能接地，绿色/黄色用于保护接地。

IP Office 控制单元和扩展模块的接地点标记有

或

符号。这些点的接地连接应使用 14 AWG 实芯线，绿色套衬用于功能性接地，黄色套衬用于保护接地。

在扩展模块上，接地点为 4 毫米的螺钉，位于模块背面的右侧。

•	在一些较旧的模块上，没有专用的接地点螺钉。在这种情况下，可使用顶部中心盖的固定螺丝f（3 毫米）作为备选接地点。应增加带齿垫圈，以确保良好的接触。
