DS 电话 IROB 安装 |
另一栋建筑物内需要数字电话分机时，必须使用额外的建筑物外范围内 (IROB) 保护设备。对于连接到 IP Office DS 端口的电话，支持的由 ITWLinx 提供的设备为 towerMAX DS/2 模块。此 IROB 设备以前被 Avaya 标记为 146E IROB。

应按照设备随附的说明安装保护设备。必须使用具有绿色和黄色套衬的 18AWG 电线将 IP Office 控制单元和 DS 模块上的接地点连接到保护地线。
通常，IROB 的 2 个 RJ45 设备端口直接连接到 2 个 RJ45 线路端口。这允许通过引脚 4 和引脚 5 使用现有 RJ45 结构化布线，无需重新布线，最多可进行两个 DS 连接。但是，通过使用引脚 3 和引脚 6，每个端口可用于连接第二个分机。
