IP Office 控制单元和模块设计为可独立堆放安装，也可以安装至 19" 机架系统中。机架安装需要适用于各个控制单元和扩展模块的机架安装套件。
如果不与任何外部扩展模块配合使用，可以使用墙式安装套件以墙式安装的形式安装 IP500 和 IP500 V2 控制单元。
| • | 线缆间隙 在所有模块的正面和背面都必须留有间隙，以便进行线缆接入和功能加密锁连接。 |
| • | 在 IP400 系统上，允许的最小间隙为 75mm（3 英寸）。 |
| • | 在 IP500 和 IP500 V2 系统上，允许的最小间隙为 90mm（3.5 英寸）。 |
| • | 额外间隙 应注意确保模块定位不会阻断气流，并不会影响其它环境需求。对于侧面有通风槽的 IP500 和 IP500 V2 控制单元，这尤其重要。 |
| • | 线缆接入 不可将电源线附于建筑表面或贯穿墙壁、天花板、地板及类似开口。必须采取安装措施来防止损坏电源线，包括电源线的正确布线、在固定设备旁提供插座或将设备放置在插座旁。 |
