This Technical Tip is to inform customers about an error message displayed at the end of the upgrade of a Unified Communications Module (UCM) to 9.0 software.
Following the upgrade process using "UNetbootin", the following error is displayed if a monitor is connected to the UCM using a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable:
"An unhandled exception has occurred. This is most likely a bug. Please save a copy of the detailed exception and file a bug report."
This error message can be disregarded; the upgrade will have been successful. If an attempt is made to click on any of the options the UCM will restart as expected.
