T3 Series Telephones - Retaining Volume Settings in Hot Desk Operation

This Technical Tip describes the correct behaviour when changing the volume settings of a T3 series telephone when configured as hot desk.

The T3 series telephone user guides (Compact, Classic and Comfort) describe how to change the volume using the buttons +/- during a call. In default, the T3 telephone volume setting is set at '2' on the visual display and can be changed between values 1,2,3 and 4 - low to high volume.

When the user logs off the T3 telephone, the volume setting will be returned to the default value of 2.

To retain the desired volume level prior to logging off, the user must press the "OK" button after changing the settings with the +/- buttons.
