This Technical Tip is to advise customers about the availability of new releases of IP Office Administration 8.0(43) and IP Office Preferred Edition (VMPro) 8.0(1011). These new releases replace the current versions of IP Office Administration 8.0(42) and VMPro 8.0(1009) released as part of the Q1 2012 Maintenance Release.
These new releases resolve the following issues:
5400 Series telephones may not restart correctly after upgrading to 8.0(42). A manual re-plug of the telephone may be required to correct the display.
96x1 series IP telephones may not automatically restart and upgrade despite having selected "Restart IP Phones" when upgrading using Manager.
Spanish language files would not install correctly with the 8.0(1009) release of Preferred Edition (VMPro).
