This Technical Tip is to inform customers about issues using the IP Office DevLink interface with IP Office Release 8.1 and 9.0 Software.
DevConnect approved third party applications may not function as expected due to a change in the DevLink "S" messaging. This change affects 8.1 Service Pack 8 and 9 and 9.0 Service Pack 2 and 3.
A Critical Patch (CP) is available for the IP500, IP500V2 and Server Edition platforms. IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) entitled customers and Partners requiring this CP should create an Avaya Support Ticket. The CP will be incorporated into 9.0 Service Pack 4 and 8.1 Service Pack 10 available in August 2014.
