You can use the call assistant to make calls. Note that the call assistant's dialing rules may adjust the number to ensure that it is suitable for dialing from the telephone system.
To make a call:
1.In the application that you are using, highlight the number you want to dial.
2.Press Ctrl+Shift+C (the default hot keys for this function).
•If the hot key combination matches one used by the application from which you are dialing, then dialing is overridden. If this happens:
•Copy the number to the clipboard using Ctrl+C.
•Click on the desktop to remove focus from the application and then press Ctrl+Shift+C to dial the number stored in the clipboard.
3.The dialing rules, if any, are applied to the number and then it is dialed.
4.The call pop-up displays the progress of the call attempt.
•To end the call attempt, click on the 
End call icon.
